You ll also experience an outdoor tide pool overlooking the sparkling Pacific Ocean that is inhabited by local sea creatures. Explore the largest oceanographic museum in the country and don't miss our interesting gift shop.Docent Assisted Tours:Ask-Me-DocentThe docent will greet the group, point out the highlights of the aquarium and walk around with the group to answer questions. The duration of the tour is one hour with a docent, leaving time to visit the rest of the facility on your ownGroup rate plus $45/docent Maximum: 25 people per docent Tank-By-Tank TourA docent will be provided for every ten participants in a guided visit of all the tanks in the aquarium. Enjoy invigorating salt air and admire dramatic settings while learning about local beaches and history. Discover marine life, birds, plants, and geological formations. The duration of the tour is one and a half-hours and the walk will not exceed two miles.Coast Walk $15 per person Minimum: 15 people or flat fee of $225. Seated at discovery stations in our private classroom, explore the behavior and natural history of live marine animals with an experienced instructor. Observe, touch, and inquire about intertidal and kelp forest inhabitants. Your hands-on program will also include a visit to the aquarium afterwards.Group rates plus $85 program fee.
