Carbonated Oceans
Investigate the effects of climate change in the oceans with Scripps
Oceanography researchers. An overload of carbon dioxide from the
burning of fossil fuels is acidifying seawater and can affect
shell-forming animals and coral reefs. Hands-on activities demonstrate
the science of ocean acidification and ways that people can change the
environmental outcome.
