Discover an ocean full of adventure at Birch Aquarium. Lead your classes along the Pacific coast as they explore the exhibits of cool northern waters down to tropical coral reefs in Baja California, Mexico. Make sure to stop by the Tide-pool Plaza, outdoor shark display, and Boundless Energy, There’s Something About Seahores and Feeling the Heat: The Climate Challenge exhibits.
Fees for grades Pre-K to 12:
September-February:
$6.50/student, $10.00 for Playgroups (parent-toddler pair)
March-August: $7.50/student, $10.00 for Playgroups
Pre-registration is required in advance. A teacher and parent
chaperones are admitted free for the purpose of supervising students.
The student to chaperone ratio is 5:1 for K-12 and 2:1 for Pre-K
classes. Extra chaperones are $14.00 each.
College students:
For all college students visiting Birch Aquarium at Scripps for a class assignment, we offer the following student rates for 2011-2012. Please purchase your tickets online in advance. ALL COLLEGE
ADMISSION TICKETS AT THE GATE OR THE EDUCATION OFFICE ARE $10.00 EACH. Please click on the College Students & Professors link on the left for more info and to purchase single admission tickets.
